Job summary

Datadog is seeking an experienced Federal Sales Executive to drive revenue across civilian agencies. You will prospect large accounts, own territory maps, and develop deep customer ROI understanding to close multi‑hundred thousand to million-dollar deals.

Travel to client sites is required as you navigate relationships and term negotiations. You will operate in a hybrid environment, leveraging MEDDIC-based processes and Datadog’s scalable platform to deliver measurable business value and growth

Qualifications

• 5+ years closing experience in field sales to mid-market and enterprise segments.
• Proven ability to win large-logo deals and hit revenue targets.
• Experience selling technology (SaaS/IT infra) to Fortune 1000 customers.

Responsibilities

• Prospect into large Fortune 1000 companies while running an efficient sales process.
• Build and own territory relationship maps and target accounts.
• Develop deep understanding of customer business and ROI.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with large enterprises to close deals.
• Maintain forecasts with accuracy and expand reach within territory.
