Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of federal contracting standards (FAR/DFARS).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical liaison between federal government client design branch, construction branch, and contractors.
• Review design submittals, shop drawings, specs, RFIs, and technical reports for compliance with standards.
• Apply engineering principles across planning, investigation, design review, construction administration, and assessment of procedures.
• Monitor progress and prepare technical or status reports.
• Provide engineering judgment for field modifications and non-conformance issues.
• Ensure compliance with guidelines, regulations, and safety.0
• Assist in cost estimates and supporting analysis with cost estimators.
• Participate in pre-construction meetings and project closeout activities.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews for contract compliance.
• Develop and mentor junior engineering staff; guide technical direction.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and provide strong technical support.
