Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Domestic travel is required; overseas travel is possible.
• Knowledge of FAR/DFARS and government contracting processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical liaison between federal design, construction, and contractors.
• Review design submittals, shop drawings, specs, RFIs, and reports for compliance.
• Apply engineering principles across planning, design review, construction admin, and assessment.
• Monitors progress and prepares technical/status reports.
• Provide engineering judgment for field modifications and non-conformance issues.
• Ensure compliance with guidelines, permitting, safety and environmental requirements.
• Assist in developing cost estimates and coordinating with government cost estimators.
• Participate in pre-construction meetings and project closeout activities.
• Conduct QA reviews to ensure contract compliance.
• Mentor junior staff and guide technical direction.
• Develop and maintain client relationships through responsive communication.
• Perform other duties as required.
