Job summary

MBP is seeking a Capture Specialist to lead strategy and execution of high-value pursuits in federal and public-sector markets. You will drive opportunities from identification through proposal submission, coordinating technical teams, business development, and marketing to position MBP to win.

You will own pre-RFP capture activities, craft win themes and messaging, and guide proposal development and interview preparation.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in capture management, proposal management, or marketing within the AEC industry.
• Federal procurement experience and familiarity with federal acquisition processes.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities under deadlines.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the capture process for strategic, high-value pursuits from identification through submission.
• Own and facilitate all pre-RFP capture phases (Interest Decision, Pursuit Decision, and Go/No-Go).
• Develop and manage capture plans, timelines, milestones, and team responsibilities.
• Translate technical solutions into clear, compelling value propositions for clients.
• Lead proposal development, storytelling, and interview preparation; coordinate with Marketing.
• Lead interview strategy and preparation, including messaging and graphics coordination.
• Demonstrate APMP certification or equivalent preferred.
