Job summary

ATF is seeking a Budget Analyst in the Financial Management Division to support the budget formulation and execution process. The incumbent will help formulate policies and improve overall bureau financial management, working with program managers and officials.

Responsibilities include advising on fund allocation, monitoring the Financial Plan, and preparing budget materials for leadership and stakeholders. Requires federal employment eligibility and mobility commitments.

Qualifications

• Specialized experience in budget development and analysis.
• Ability to create and justify annual and multi-year budget materials.
• Familiarity with budget monitoring and financial plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance to stakeholders on allocation, use, and control of funds.
• Support oversight of budget execution by monitoring inputs, outputs, and modifications.
