Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a seasoned Business Development and Capture Leader for federal alternative delivery opportunities in the United States. You will drive strategy with General Contractors, build executive relationships, and shape teaming agreements across pursuit cycles.

In this role, you will collaborate with CSLs, legal, and sales teams to advance pursuits, manage the GC relationship pipeline, and position CDM Smith as a trusted designer-partner in DB and PDB programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 15+ years of related experience.
• Willingness to travel 20%–40%.
• Experience with federal procurement mechanics and DoD projects beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage relationships with regional and national General Contractors for federal alternative delivery opportunities.
• Position CDM Smith as a preferred designer early in procurement and negotiate teaming terms.
• Collaborate with CSLs and preconstruction teams to develop teaming strategies and pursuit plans.
• Translate procurement criteria into competitive designer-led subcontract or joint-venture structures.
• Maintain a qualified pipeline of opportunities and track teaming actions through to award.
