Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking a senior business development and capture leader to drive federal alternative delivery strategies with General Contractors. You will develop and manage executive relationships, position CDM Smith as key designer-partner, and build teaming agreements before solicitations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 15 years of relevant federal A/E business development experience.
• Travel up to 40% may be required.
• Equivalent directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead CDM Smith’s federal alternative delivery strategy with regional and national General Contractors.
• Identify priority pursuits and build executive-level relationships that lead to teaming commitments.
• Develop and negotiate teaming strategies, exclusivity, scopes of work prior to solicitation.
• Collaborate with CSLs and pursuit teams to present engineering and constructability expertise to GC teams.
• Track federal market movements and align pursuit resources with prime contractor interest and award probability.
• Manage the pipeline through teaming agreements and transitions to pursuit and delivery teams.
• Serve as senior relationship and capture lead through teaming agreement execution and transition.
