CDM Smith seeks a senior Alternative Delivery Market Lead to drive strategic partnerships with national and regional General Contractors for federal delivery methods, including Progressive Design‑Build and Design‑Build to Budget for U.S. Government projects.

You will build executive‑level relationships, shape teaming agreements, and guide pursuit teams from target identification through award. Travel and federal A/E/C market leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 15 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.
• Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead CDM Smith's federal alternative delivery strategy with regional and national General Contractors.
• Position CDM Smith as preferred designer on prime contractor teams and negotiate teaming scopes.
• Collaborate with CSLs and pursuit teams to develop teaming strategies and improve probability of award.
• Own the pipeline for federal opportunities and transition to delivery teams after award.
• Maintain executive relationships and translate procurement criteria into competitive subcontract structures.
• Track agency movement toward accelerated delivery methods and align resources accordingly.
• Resolve friction points between contractors and A/E teams during design validation and cost development.
