Job summary

Cohesity, Inc. is seeking a Federal Account Executive (Army) to build and close opportunities in a defined territory. You’ll prospect, develop pipeline, and close deals while supporting existing accounts in a fast-paced, enterprise tech space focused on data security and AI-powered resilience.

You’ll collaborate with channels and alliances, engage senior stakeholders, and craft value-based proposals that align Cohesity’s platform with security and operational needs. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience selling to Information Security / Cybersecurity teams and aligning solutions to security standards.
• Customer-focused mindset with interest in cybersecurity and data protection.
• Proven enterprise technology sales experience in infrastructure, SaaS, or adjacent markets.
• Evidence of success in net-new customer acquisition and growing existing accounts.
• Foundational understanding of data security and backup technologies.
• Familiarity with Cohesity solutions (DataProtect, DataHawk, SmartFiles) is a plus.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Execute a territory plan focused on net-new logo acquisition and account growth across a defined set of enterprise accounts.
• Build, manage, and progress a qualified sales pipeline with direct and channel-supported opportunities.
• Engage with senior decision-makers and stakeholders to drive deals forward.
• Lead customer engagements through discovery, evaluation, proposal development, and solution alignment with SEs and leadership guidance.
• Develop and deliver clear, value-based proposals connecting Cohesity’s platform to security and resilience needs.
• Collaborate with channel partners and alliances (NVIDIA, IBM, HPE, AWS) to support deal execution.
• Maintain accurate opportunity tracking and forecasting; contribute to quarterly performance.
• Share customer insights to support product and sales improvements.
