Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking a Store Manager Trainee to lead daily store operations and develop teams while delivering customer-focused results. Starting wage is $29.50 per hour with potential annual earnings between $85,500 and $105,000, including salary and bonus where applicable.

This full-time role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to drive store KPI goals in a fast-paced environment. Travel within divisional requirements is possible during training.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in retail and management.

Responsibilities

• Communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports to ensure desired results; leads and develops store personnel.
• Develops and implements action plans using company provided resources to improve operating results.
• Oversees appropriate resolution of employee and customer concerns, aligning with the district manager, as needed.
• Interviews candidates for store positions and provides recommendations to the district manager.
• Manages personnel, including recommending personnel for advancement and termination as appropriate.
• Communicates, cooperates, and interacts effectively with all levels of ALDI personnel, customers, third-party vendors and business partners.
