ALDI USA is seeking a Store Manager Trainee to learn operations, merchandising, customer service and leadership by running a store alongside associates. You will manage schedules, train staff, and drive store results in a fast‑paced environment.

This full‑time program offers competitive wages with a starting rate of $29.50 per hour and an earning potential in the $77,500–$95,500 range in Year 1, depending on location and bonuses. Travel between divisional locations may occur.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old required.
• Highschool diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in a retail environment and prior management experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicates responsibilities and expectations to direct reports; leads and develops store personnel.
• Develops and implements action plans to improve operating results.
• Oversees resolution of employee and customer concerns with the district manager as needed.
• Interviews candidates and provides recommendations to the district manager.
• Manages personnel, including advancement and termination decisions.
• Interacts with ALDI personnel, customers, vendors and partners.
• Collaborates to resolve store issues and minimize liability.
• Leads and supervises the team to develop sales and high performance.
• Understands and communicates the company strategy and values.
• Maintains a positive, collaborative working environment and teamwork.
• Ensures policy compliance and safe store operations.
• Trains and develops store personnel using training materials.
• Evaluates performance and provides feedback and coaching.
• Ensures compliance with customer service guidelines and interactions.
• Resolves concerns or escalates to the district manager as needed.
• Models compliance with policies and procedures.
• Maintains safe working conditions and equipment.
• Prepares and revises weekly schedules.
• Adheres to expense, inventory, and cash-handling policies.
• Maintains zone and merchandising standards.
• Initiates plans to achieve KPI goals and budgets.
• Participates in district calls and team meetings.
