Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead the operations and marketing of our quick service restaurant at TA travel centers. You will staff, train, supervise and drive profitability while delivering fast, friendly service and quality food in a clean environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years supervisory experience in fast-food, strong budgeting skills, and proficiency with POS software and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3+ years supervisory experience in fast-food or quick-serve required or preferred
• Strong planning, budgeting and expense reporting skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to coach and develop staff
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends and some holidays
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS software

Responsibilities

• Lead restaurant operations and marketing functions at TA travel centers
• Staffing, training and development of team members
• Supervise staff and improve profitability and customer service
• Oversee payroll, inventory and vendor relations
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
