Job summary

TravelCenters of America seeks a Restaurant General Manager to lead daily operations and marketing for our quick-service restaurant at a travel center location. You will oversee staffing, training, development, and supervision to drive profitability and guest satisfaction.

You’ll ensure staff performance, payroll, and compliance while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming dining area. Strong leadership, communication, and P&L awareness are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in fast-food preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to coach and develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations and marketing functions of the quick service restaurant.
• Staffing, training and development; supervise staff with accountability for performance.
• Improve profitability through effective management of people, product, service and facilities.
• Oversee payroll, inventory, and compliance with state and federal laws.
• Ensure safety standards and vendor guidelines are followed.
• Provide courteous, fast, and friendly service to guests.
