Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead operations and marketing of our quick service restaurant at a Travel Center. You will staff, train, supervise, and drive profitability while delivering fast, friendly service and high-quality food.

The role requires a servant leadership style, 3+ years of supervisory experience in fast-food, strong communication, and flexibility to work nights and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years supervisory experience in fast-food industry preferred.
• Proficient planning and analytical skills (P&L, budgets, etc).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and some holidays.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS software.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations and marketing for the restaurant.
• Staff recruitment, training and development.
• Ensure fast, friendly service and quality food.
• Manage payroll, inventory and reporting processes.
• Oversee safety standards and compliant operations.
• Coach and retain team members; foster a respectful culture.
• Achieve financial objectives and improve profitability.
• Oversee vendor relationships and cost controls.
