Job summary

Ascension Coffee Company is hiring Line Cooks for a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. You will execute fast-casual menu items, set up stations, restock for shifts, and follow leadership directions while maintaining sanitary conditions.

Ideal candidates have 3 years of line or prep cook experience, understand various cooking methods, and can deliver items under 8-minute ticket times. Teamwork and speed are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience as line cook or prep cook in high-volume or fast-casual restaurant.
• Proficient in diverse cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
• Capable of executing menu items accurately and quickly (under 8 minute ticket times).
• Able to follow instructions and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to specifications (build sheets & recipes).
• Set up and stock stations prior to service.
• Restock station before shift end and prep for next shift.
• Follow Kitchen Manager and General Manager instructions.
• Maintain a sanitary work area.
• Ensure meals consistently meet specs and under 8-minute ticket times.
