Job summary

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience as a line cook or prep cook in a high-volume or fast-casual restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures.
• Ability to produce items with accuracy and speed (8-minute ticket times).
• Able to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work 8-hour shifts or longer.
• Must have a valid Food Handler’s certificate or be willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Prepare menu items according to company specifications (build sheets & recipes).
• Set up and stock stations prior to service.
• Restock station before completing shift, and prep for subsequent shift.
• Adhere to Kitchen Manager and General Manager’s instructions.
• Maintain a sanitary work area.
• Ensure that food comes out to spec consistently and under an 8 minute ticket time.
