Jacobs is hiring an Equipment Specialist HVDC/FACTS in the United States to lead HVDC/FACTS projects, develop specifications, and coordinate with vendors and internal teams. You will support FAT/SAT testing and work across disciplines (cable, GIS, geotechnical, civil) to ensure successful project delivery.

In this hybrid role, you will engage with global HVDC experts and contribute to bids and business development while aligning with regional clients and project schedules.

Qualifications

• Related experience in HVDC/FACTS engineering and power transmission projects.
• Experience with consulting engineering firms, developers, or OEM exposure preferred.

Responsabilités

• Lead HVDC/FACTS projects at various development stages.
• Develop and review technical/functional/performance specifications.
• Liaise with vendors for Owners Engineering tasks.
• Support FAT/SAT witnessing and testing activities.
• Collaborate with cable engineering, GIS, geotechnical, civil teams.
• Contribute to Jacobs bids, proposals, and business development.
