Job summary

Dominion Energy seeks a Senior/Staff Engineer to support FACTS and HVDC equipment, including lifecycle management, procurement, and testing. You will collaborate with planning, asset management, procurement, and field teams to integrate new and existing technologies.

This role requires strong engineering knowledge, leadership, and communication, with a focus on reliability and performance in the electric transmission network.

Qualifications

• Senior Engineer: 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Staff Engineer: 8+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience with FACTS and HVDC is a plus.
• EMT power system software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hire lifecycle: own lifecycle of FACTS/HVDC equipment from requirements to FAT/SAT testing.
• Collaborate with OEMs, EPC contractors, and vendors for FACTS/HVDC.
• Contribute to standardization for EPC projects involving FACTS/HVDC.
• Provide in-field support and training materials for operations on FACTS/HVDC.
