Tampa Electric Company is seeking a qualified Supervisor for Facility Services to lead operations, maintenance, and compliance across TECO facilities in Florida. The role requires coordinating with IBEW staff, directing work, and ensuring safety and regulatory standards are met.

Responsibilities include overseeing HVAC and building automation systems, implementing asset protection, and providing 24/7 emergency support while maintaining operational readiness and environmental compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate or technical degree required; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Minimum seven years in facility operations and maintenance; HVAC/refrigeration experience counts.
• Two years of supervisory experience required; five+ years preferred.
• Knowledge of NFPA, EPA, Florida Building Code and safety programs.

Responsabilités

• Supervise internal operations to maintain Tampa Electric building assets including HVAC and building automation systems.
• Provide supervision, direction, and performance evaluations for Facility Services IBEW staff.
• Plan and assign work; coordinate with other supervisors to optimize schedules.
• Develop and enforce maintenance standards, policies, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide 24/7 support for emergency calls and responses; ensure safety programs are followed.
