Qualifications

- Required: Pass the NERC System Operator Certification exam within six months of hiring.
Responsibilities
- Monitor power system and respond to alarms; direct transmission switching and issue Clearances.
- Dispatch generation resources to minimize costs and maintain security.
- Arrange, schedule, monitor and account for all interchange transactions; respond to Transmission Service requests.
