Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC in Portland, OR is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee daily maintenance operations across our warehousing complex. You will lead engineering and maintenance teams, set priorities, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 5+ years in maintenance, 3+ years supervising others, hands-on mechanical and electrical knowledge, and proficiency with MS Office and CMMS (SAP or Oracle). On-site role with potential travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance with at least 3 years directly managing or supervising others.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize effectively.
• Fully competent in mechanical and basic electrical concepts with ability to work hands-on in mechanically oriented situations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and experience with SAP or Oracle CMMS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Direct and assign work to engineering and maintenance associates, set performance objectives, and monitor team performance.
• Prepare annual maintenance budgets, schedule expenditures, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions to achieve financial objectives.
• Determine work priorities and schedule repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to support operational productivity.
• Design, implement, and modify preventive maintenance programs by reviewing reports, inspecting equipment, and ensuring operational standards are met.
• Ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations and state codes, maintain a safe and clean working environment, and protect employees and visitors.
• Maintain and analyze equipment reliability reports, initiate action plans for improvement, and ensure material handling equipment is operational and in good repair.
• Execute capital projects including obtaining bids, submitting requests, and managing contractors and vendors throughout the process.
• Other essential duties may be applicable and assigned as necessary.
