Job summary

Americold is seeking a facilities maintenance leader to oversee daily maintenance operations across multiple warehouses, ensuring reliable equipment and safe operations. You will lead engineering and maintenance teams, manage budgets, and drive preventive maintenance programs.

Qualified candidates have at least 5 years in maintenance with 3 years supervising, a high school diploma, and proficiency in Excel plus SAP or Oracle CMMS. Travel up to 5–12% may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Able to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize effectively.
• Proficient in MS Office including Excel; experience with SAP or Oracle CMMS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Direct and assign work to engineering and maintenance teams and monitor performance.
• Prepare annual maintenance budgets, track expenditures, and address variances.
• Schedule repairs and installations to support operational productivity.
• Develop preventive maintenance programs and ensure standards are met.
• Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain a safe, clean workplace.
• Analyze equipment reliability and implement improvement plans.
• Lead capital projects, manage bids, and coordinate contractors.
• Performs other duties as needed.
