Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. is seeking a senior maintenance leader to oversee daily maintenance operations across multiple warehouses or a single complex facility. You will manage engineering and maintenance teams, set performance objectives, and ensure safe, compliant operation of machines, equipment, and utilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in maintenance with at least 3 years directly managing or supervising others.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and prioritize effectively.
• Fully competent in mechanical and basic electrical concepts with hands-on work.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and experience with SAP or Oracle CMMS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Direct and assign work to engineering and maintenance associates, set performance objectives, and monitor team performance.
• Prepare annual maintenance budgets, schedule expenditures, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions to achieve financial objectives.
• Determine work priorities and schedule repair, maintenance, and installation of machines, tools, and equipment to support operational productivity.
• Design, implement, and modify preventive maintenance programs by reviewing reports, inspecting equipment, and ensuring operational standards are met.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and state codes, maintain a safe and clean working environment, and protect employees and visitors.
• Maintain and analyze equipment reliability reports, initiate action plans for improvement, and ensure material handling equipment is operational and in good repair.
• Execute capital projects including obtaining bids, submitting requests, and managing contractors and vendors throughout the process.
• Other essential duties may be applicable and assigned as necessary.
