Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an experienced facilities leader to oversee safety, building systems, and maintenance across major construction and renovation projects. You will coordinate with engineers, contractors, and government agencies to ensure compliance and high-quality performance.

The role requires extensive knowledge of NFPA, OSHA, EPA codes, and CMMS-FM proficiency, plus a Bachelor's in engineering or management and a strong supervisory track record. A CFM certification is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Five or more years managing facility operations and maintenance programs, including operations, preventive maintenance, subcontracts, HVAC, electrical, pre-construction services, quality control systems, and supervisory functions.
• Thorough knowledge of engineering and construction principles, practices and procedures.
• Knowledge of applicable laws and government regulations.
• Knowledge of management and supervision principles.
• Proven experience in facility maintenance management, including managing budgets and full knowledge of business operations.

Responsibilities

• Administer and direct programs for safety, building, grounds, equipment, utilities, and distribution systems.
• Coordinate major construction and renovation programs.
• Plan, organize, and control plant operations, maintenance, building equipment, and renovations.
• Review and evaluate existing programs, services, policies, and procedures.
• Develop, recommend, and implement new or modified programs, services, policies, and procedures.
• Coordinate with the Contracting Officer Representative, staff, community groups, agencies, contractors, architects, and engineers.
