Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead maintenance across HVAC/R, electrical, plumbing, and critical power systems in a facility-driven environment. You will drive energy efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance while directing multi-disciplinary teams and coordinating with vendors and building operations.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3–5 years of facilities/construction management experience, with EPA 608 certification within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field; 3 years’ experience in facilities/construction management or related area OR 5 years’ experience in facilities/construction management or related area.
• EPA 608 Certification within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred: Supervising Associates or cross-functional project experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise maintenance and service operations for HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and critical power systems.
• Evaluate facility and equipment to improve energy efficiency and reduce energy use.
• Develop SOPs and preventive maintenance programs for facilities.
• Oversee sustainability and EPA compliance programs.
• Manage complex projects, prioritize tasks, and supervise teams; assess vendor work and provide training.
