Primary responsibilities include preventive maintenance, roof inspections, and coordinating with other technicians. Valid license and DOT certification are required or sponsorable by U-Haul.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, A/C, HVAC, plumbing or landscaping.
• Valid driver’s license.
• DOT certification (can be sponsored by U-Haul).
• Must be 18 or older.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and build new buildings.
• Perform general maintenance, installation, repair and service.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and semiannual roof inspections at various sites.
• Effectively work with a variety of hand/power tools.
• Pool knowledge with other Facility Maintenance Technicians to accomplish complex projects.
• Complete work requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Keep track of company truck and gas card.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
