Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to work with a team of technicians on complex projects across multiple sites. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, utilize hand and power tools, and contribute to building upkeep and safety.

The role requires experience in electrical, HVAC, plumbing or landscaping, plus a valid driver’s license and potential DOT certification sponsorship. This is a full-time on-site position with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, A/C, HVAC, plumbing or landscaping.
• Valid driver’s license.
• DOT certification (can be sponsored by U-Haul).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and build new buildings.
• Perform general maintenance, installation, repair and service.
• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and semiannual roof inspections at various sites.
• Effectively work with a variety of hand/power tools.
• Pool knowledge with other Facility Maintenance Technicians to accomplish complex projects.
• Complete work requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Keep track of company truck and gas card.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
