Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to inspect, maintain, and build new buildings, and perform general maintenance across multiple sites.

You will work with other technicians to complete complex projects and participate in ongoing training through U-Haul University. Ideal candidates have experience in electrical, A/C, HVAC, plumbing or landscaping, hold a valid driver’s license, and can meet safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, A/C, HVAC, plumbing or landscaping.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• D.O.T certification can be sponsored by U-Haul.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and build new buildings.
• Perform general maintenance, installation, repair and service.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and semiannual roof inspections at various sites.
• Utilize hand and power tools effectively.
• Coordinate with other technicians on complex projects.
• Complete work requests promptly and professionally.
• Manage company truck and gas card.
• Participate in U-Haul University training.
