Job summary

SP+ in Seattle, a Metropolis Company, is hiring for a facility maintenance role involving cleaning, repairs, and customer interaction within the garage environment. You will perform maintenance tasks, operate equipment, and assist customers while ensuring safety and cleanliness across multiple areas of the facility.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license if driving a company vehicle, and flexibility for 3rd shift or weekend work.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: High School Diploma or a combination of experience and education.
• License Requirement: valid state-issued driver’s license if driving a company vehicle.
• Availability to Work: 3rd shift and/or weekends may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks per checklists to keep garage areas clean.
• Walk the garage daily to note and fix maintenance issues.
• Sweep and clean entrances, exits, rails, and restrooms.
• Empty trashcans in garage, booth, and office.
• Paint surfaces to maintain neat appearance.
• Replace burned out bulbs; manage spills per safety practices.
• Submit repair or maintenance requests to the Facility Manager.
• Check gate arms and ticket spitters for proper operation and accuracy.
• Provide tickets and record gate counters to management.
• Maintain janitorial supplies inventory and garage/lot sweep sheets.
• Operate sweepers, scrubbers, and outdoor equipment as needed.
• Shovel or plow snow from entrances per supervisor directions.
• Cover other duties (cashier/attendant) as needed.
• Maintain neat uniform appearance and arrive on time.
