Job summary

SP+, a Metropolis Company, seeks a facility maintenance associate to perform cleaning, painting, light repair, and equipment care at our Akron location. You will interact with customers, support safety and housekeeping tasks, and operate basic cleaning tools and light equipment.

The role requires a High School Diploma (or equivalent) and a valid driver's license, with possible third-shift and weekend availability. Training provided; benefit options described in the posting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• Valid state driver's license required.
• Availability for third shift and/or weekends may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and cleaning tasks per checklists.
• Walk garage daily to identify maintenance issues.
• Sweep entrances, exits, rails and restrooms; clean surfaces.
• Paint surfaces as directed by supervisor.
• Replace burned out bulbs.
• Report safety hazards or maintenance needs.
• Assist customers and resolve complaints.
• Maintain neat appearance and uniform.
