Job summary

Sprenger Health Care in Lorain, OH seeks a Facility Human Resource Manager to lead on-site HR operations, ensuring compliant, people-focused practices and a positive workplace culture.

You will oversee employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits, leave administration, and confidential records, partnering with leadership to deliver timely, audit-ready HR services.

Qualifications

• HR experience in health care, long-term care, senior living, or similarly regulated environment is preferred.
• Core HR practices include benefits and leave administration, ADA accommodation processes, workers’ compensation, employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and employment documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead facility HR operations, including employee relations and policy administration.
• Manage end-to-end recruiting, hiring, and onboarding and support new hire compliance.
• Maintain employee records and ensure regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead facility HR operations, including employee relations and policy administration
• Manage end-to-end recruiting, hiring, and onboarding and support new hire compliance
• Maintain employee records and ensure regulatory compliance
• Support benefits, leave administration, workers' compensation, and accommodations
• Promote employee engagement, retention, and a positive workplace culture
• Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times

Requirements

• HR experience in a health care, long-term care, senior living, or similarly regulated environment is preferred
• Working knowledge of core HR practices, including:
  • Employee benefits and leave administration
  • ADA accommodation processes
  • Workers’ Compensation
  • Employee relations
  • Recruiting, onboarding, and employment documentation
• Ability to keep accurate, audit-ready employee records while managing multiple deadlines and priorities
• Proficient computer skills; ability to learn HR, payroll, benefits, applicant tracking, and learning-management systems used by the organization
• Strong skills in written and verbal communication, organization, judgment, follow-through, customer service, and discretion and confidentiality
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, collaborate with leadership, and be visible and approachable to employees
