Job summary

Anchor Lodge in Lorain, OH is seeking an HR professional to lead facility HR operations, employee relations, and policy administration within a health care setting. The role oversees recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and new hire compliance while maintaining accurate records and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include supporting benefits, leave administration, workers’ compensation, accommodations, and fostering employee engagement and retention.

Qualifications

• HR experience in health care, long-term care, senior living, or similarly regulated environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of core HR practices, employee benefits, leave administration, ADA accommodation processes, Workers’ Compensation, employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and employment documentation.

Job Details: Job Location: Anchor Lodge - Lorain, OH 44053, Sprenger Health Care is a third generation, leading developer, owner and operator of senior living communities and services in Ohio and South Carolina. Qualifications:

• Human Resources experience in a health care, long-term care, senior living, or similarly regulated environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of core HR practices, employee benefits, leave administration, ADA accommodation processes, Workers’ Compensation, employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and employment documentation.
• Ability to maintain accurate, audit-ready employee records and manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to learn HR, payroll, benefits, applicant tracking, and learning-management systems used by the organization.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, judgment, follow-through, customer service, discretion, and confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently, exercise initiative, collaborate with leadership, and be visible and approachable to employees.
