Job summary

Sprenger Health Care is seeking a skilled HR leader to oversee facility HR operations at Anchor Lodge in Lorain, OH. You will handle employee relations, policy administration, recruiting, onboarding and compliance while maintaining professional confidentiality.

The role focuses on benefits administration, leave, workers’ compensation, and accommodations, while promoting engagement and culture across the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in health care HR or regulated environment preferred.
• Knowledge of benefits, leave, ADA accommodation processes, Workers’ Compensation, employee relations, and employment documentation.
• Ability to maintain audit-ready employee records and manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Proficient with HR, payroll, benefits, applicant tracking, and learning-management systems used by the organization.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, judgment, follow-through, customer service, discretion, and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Lead facility HR operations, employee relations, and policy administration.
• Manage recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and new hire compliance.
• Maintain employee records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support benefits, leave administration, workers’ compensation, and accommodations.
• Promote employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture.
• Must always be professional and confidential
