Job summary

Sprenger Health Care is seeking a skilled HR leader to oversee facility HR operations at Anchor Lodge in Lorain, OH. You will handle employee relations, policy administration, recruiting, onboarding and compliance while maintaining professional confidentiality.

The role focuses on benefits administration, leave, workers’ compensation, and accommodations, while promoting engagement and culture across the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in health care HR or regulated environment preferred.
• Knowledge of benefits, leave, ADA accommodation processes, Workers’ Compensation, employee relations, and employment documentation.
• Ability to maintain audit-ready employee records and manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Proficient with HR, payroll, benefits, applicant tracking, and learning-management systems used by the organization.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, judgment, follow-through, customer service, discretion, and confidentiality.

Job Details: Job Location: Anchor Lodge - Lorain, OH 44053, Sprenger Health Care is a third generation, leading developer, owner and operator of senior living communities and services in Ohio and South Carolina. Qualifications:

• Human Resources experience in a health care, long-term care, senior living, or similarly regulated environment preferred.
• Working knowledge of core HR practices, employee benefits, leave administration, ADA accommodation processes, Workers’ Compensation, employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, and employment documentation.
• Ability to maintain accurate, audit-ready employee records and manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Proficient computer skills and ability to learn HR, payroll, benefits, applicant tracking, and learning-management systems used by the organization.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organization, judgment, follow-through, customer service, discretion, and confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently, exercise initiative, collaborate with leadership, and be visible and approachable to employees.
