Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Facility Technician to assist with operation, troubleshooting, and repairs across commercial properties. You will support HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and building systems, and perform routine preventive maintenance.

A valid driver’s license and basic computer skills are required for coordinating service requests and logging work orders. The role may involve on-site work in various facilities, with potential overtime during priority emergencies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting.
• Technical, vocational or on-the-job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, painting, plumbing, carpentry or engine repair
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license with good driving record; commercial license may be required
• Basic Computing Skills in Outlook, Excel & Word

Responsibilities

• Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of buildings and installed systems.
• Clean, lubricate, and service pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, wallpaper, painting walls, piping, floors and equipment.
• Troubleshoot, evaluate, and recommend upgrades to maintenance operations and savings opportunities.
• Respond to emergencies and customer service requests as assigned.
• Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions, preventative maintenance, etc.
• Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems as assigned.
