Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to support operations across commercial properties. You will troubleshoot and repair building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and structural elements, and perform routine maintenance to ensure reliability.

The role requires hands-on technical skills, ability to respond to emergencies, and a driver’s license. You’ll contribute to safety, efficiency, and quality while supporting various site operations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting.
• Technical, vocational or on-the-job training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, painting, plumbing, carpentry or engine repair.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license (commercial license may be required) and good driving record.
• Basic Computing Skills in Outlook, Excel & Word.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair buildings and installed systems including packaging machinery, plumbing, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, shop, grounds equipment, and HVAC.
• Clean, lubricate, and service pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, wallpaper, and painting walls, piping, floors, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and upgrade maintenance operations and identify savings opportunities.
• Respond to emergencies and customer service requests as assigned.
