Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Colorado is seeking a Building Maintenance Technician to support operation, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs across commercial properties.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and building systems, coordinate with trades, and help maintain a safe, attractive facility.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, 5+ years in a similar role, and a valid driver's license; electrical/HVAC licenses are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or GED, or equivalent experience.
• Maintain knowledge of the latest equipment and technologies.
• Electrical or HVAC license preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude, math ability and a positive attitude.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Minimum five years’ experience in a similar role with demonstrated positive client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance such as lighting, restroom equipment and door repairs.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC related equipment and air handling components.
• Inspect buildings and create action plans for client approval.
• Operate facility systems and maintain appearance of facilities.
• Coordinate with trades and custodians to complete tasks safely and timely.
• Adhere to safety, repair, and procurement procedures.
