Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. in Burlington, MA is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to lead a team and keep Nordstrom stores safe and well‑maintained.

You will support the Facility Manager and ensure HVAC, building systems, and essential equipment are ready for daily business. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, operate building controls, mentor technicians, and manage parts, vendor relations, and CMMS records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical degree preferred.
• 5–7 years in hands-on facilities with mechanical maintenance.
• Experience with HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
• Strong communication and vendor coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead preventive maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems.
• Operate and monitor building controls and systems.
• Mentor technicians and delegate work orders.
• Coordinate parts orders and vendor management.
• Attend store and project meetings and ensure safety compliance.
