Job summary

Nordstrom in Danvers, MA seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician II to lead a preventive maintenance program and support the Facility Manager in daily operations. You will troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems, manage CMMS work orders, and coordinate with vendors and store leadership.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliable operation of building systems, with opportunities to mentor junior technicians and contribute to a safe customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of hands-on facilities experience with mechanical maintenance.
• 5+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance experience.
• 5+ years of HVAC and refrigeration, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic input/output and low voltage signals.
• Strong communication and ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with CMMS and Coupa.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform preventive maintenance on all critical and non-critical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Store Operations.
• Operate and monitor building controls and associated equipment.
• Respond to break-fix requests and delegate work orders.
• Document maintenance procedures and mentor other technicians.
• Coordinate with vendors and store leadership.
• Ensure safety compliance and follow LOTO/PPE procedures.
