Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to lead a team ensuring a safe, well‑maintained store environment for customers and staff.

You will support the Facilities Manager, conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, and mentor junior technicians across Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom Rack locations. You will supervise routine maintenance, manage parts and vendor relations, and maintain accurate CMMS records while promoting safety and adherence to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associates or higher preferred.
• 5–7 years hands-on facilities experience with mechanical maintenance.
• 5+ years of predictive and preventive maintenance experience.
• 5+ years of HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform preventive maintenance on critical and non‑critical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Store Operations.
• Operate and monitor building controls and systems; respond to alarms and issues.
• Mentor and develop other technicians; delegate work orders.
• Coordinate with vendors, parts ordering, and meetings; ensure safety protocols.
