Job summary

Nordstrom Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technician II to lead a team and ensure a safe, well‑maintained store environment for customers and employees.

You will support the Facilities Manager to keep stores ready for business daily, with emphasis on HVAC, building systems, and critical equipment. As a lead technician you will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, monitor building controls/EMCS, mentor peers, coordinate with vendors, and document activities in

Qualifications

• 5-7 years hands-on facilities experience with emphasis in mechanical maintenance.
• 5+ years predictive and preventative maintenance experience.
• Experience with HVAC and refrigeration, electrical and mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform preventive maintenance on critical and non‑critical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to store operations.
• Operate and monitor building controls and EMCS alarms.
• Mentor technicians and assist with vendor management and meetings.
• Maintain CMMS records and assist with parts ordering and stocking.
