Nordstrom in Honolulu seeks a Maintenance Technician II to lead a team in keeping a safe, well-maintained store environment. The role supports the Facility Manager by ensuring daily readiness of HVAC, vertical transport, food service areas, entrances and building systems.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, on-demand break-fix, vendor coordination, parts ordering, and safety compliance. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in facilities maintenance and strong hands-on skills across

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED. Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college preferred
• 5-7 years of hands-on facilities experience with an emphasis in mechanical maintenance
• 5+ years of predictive and preventative maintenance experience
• 5+ years of HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and mechanical repair experience
• Ability to troubleshoot low voltage signals and logic devices
• Ability to work without supervision and meet multiple deadlines
• Strong communication skills across organizational levels; written and verbal
• Proficiency with CMMS and purchasing systems (Coupa)
• Experience with networked building systems and infrastructure
• Project management experience a plus
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and off-hours

Responsabilités

• Lead and perform preventive maintenance on critical and non-critical equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems across Store Operations
• Operate and monitor building controls and systems
• Troubleshoot alarms and verify proper building operation
• Lead rounds, identify malfunctions, and document issues
• Perform manual tasks such as lifting and moving materials
• Assist with parts ordering, vendor coordination, and meetings
• Promote a safe working environment and enforce safety procedures
• Attend store and vendor meetings and document outcomes
• Mentor technicians and train new staff on equipment and systems
• Respond to location emergencies and coordinate with FM
• Maintain CMMS records and parts inventory
• Coordinate with contractors and property managers
• Comply with codes, regulations, and safety directives
