Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. seeks a Maintenance Technician II to lead a team in keeping a safe, well‑maintained store environment for customers and employees.

The role supports the Facilities Manager and ensures stores are ready for daily business, with emphasis on HVAC and building systems. The position involves preventive maintenance, on-demand repairs, mentoring technicians, and coordinating with vendors across Nordstrom stores and Nordstrom Rack locations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience with HVAC, electrical and mechanical systems.
• Hands-on maintenance with predictive and preventive procedures.
• Mentoring junior technicians and leading maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform preventive maintenance on critical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues across store operations.
• Operate and monitor building controls and CMMS.
• Coordinate with vendors and store leadership; document outcomes.
• Maintain safety and health compliance with LOTO, PPE, and guarding.
