Job summary

The Center for Creative Leadership is seeking a Facilities Manager for our Colorado Springs campus to oversee building operations, safety, and maintenance. You will supervise Building Services staff, manage HVAC and systems, and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of related work experience, plus at least 3 years of supervisory experience. Competitive benefits are offered and the position is on-site at our Colorado campus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent education/training and 10+ years related work experience.
• Minimum of three years supervisory experience, preferably in a team environment.
• Electrical Contractor's license or 5+ years related work experience.
• Extensive experience and training in maintenance (electrical, mechanical, steam fitting, boiler tending, electronics, refrigeration, HVAC/BAS).
• Experience in contract negotiations with various products and services.
• Proven project management, communication and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills.
• Ability to solve problems with limited guidance and good time management.
• Proficiency in MS Office and facility management software.

Responsibilities

• Directly responsible for building condition, readiness, and safety at all times.
• Supervises Building Services staff and manages resources and performance.
• Oversees HVAC, systems, and data reporting; supports facility IT systems.
• Develops and manages safety programs per OSHA/EPA; acts as Safety Officer for the campus.
• Negotiates with outside contractors and oversees external work.
• Manages environmental standards, reporting, and record-keeping.
• Contributes to Business Continuity Plan and participates in activation.
• Provides 24/7 maintenance availability as needed.
• Prepares and monitors operating and capital budgets; reports to management.
