Job summary

Colorado Mountain College is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee non-residential campus facilities, maintenance, custodial services, and grounds. You will supervise staff and contractors, manage budgets, and ensure safety policies are followed across buildings and systems on campus.

The position requires a combination of education and experience; certifications like CFM or CEFP are desirable but not required. A Colorado Driver License is needed, and on-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and one year of related experience, or
• Associate’s degree and three years related experience, or
• High School Diploma/GED and five years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains, and manages staff.
• Oversees cleaning and maintenance of campus facilities and equipment.
• Initiates planned/preventive maintenance programs and manages repairs.
• Oversees grounds, landscaping, irrigation, snow removal, and related activities.
• Manages outside contractor services and campus utility/energy systems.
