Job summary

The Center for Creative Leadership (CCL) in Colorado Springs seeks an experienced facilities leader to oversee building services, safety, and maintenance operations on campus. You will supervise staff, manage HVAC and safety programs, and coordinate with contractors to ensure reliable facilities support for clients and employees.

Key qualifications include a 10+ year track record in facilities maintenance, supervisory experience, and a licensed electrical contractor credential or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required, with 10+ years of related work experience.
• Minimum of three years supervisory experience, preferably in a team environment.
• Electrical Contractor’s license or 5+ years related work experience.
• Extensive experience in maintenance: electrical, mechanical, steam fitting, boiler tending, electronics, refrigeration, HVAC/BAS, and related equipment; licensed in one or more areas.
• Experience in contract negotiations for various products/services.
• Proven project management, communication, and organizational skills.
• Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills.
• Ability to solve problems with limited guidance; good time management.
• Proficiency in MS Office and facility management software preferred.
• Commitment to customer service and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct responsibility for condition, readiness and safety/security of building and grounds.
• Supervise Building Services staff; deploy team; hire, train, and evaluate staff.
• Manage HVAC and work order systems; ensure data accuracy; provide metric reports.
• Develop and manage safety programs including OSHA/EPA; act as Safety Officer for Colorado campus.
• Coordinate with Group Manager and outside contractors for operations and maintenance.
• Oversee environmental management functions; establish standards and maintain records.
• Assist with Business Continuity Plan development and activation for COS.
• Provide 24/7 maintenance availability as required to meet client and employee needs.
• Prepare and monitor operating and capital budgets; produce reports.
• Attend FMG management meetings; address problems and conflicts constructively.
• Demonstrate willingness and ability to confront and resolve issues.
