Job summary

Colorado Mountain College is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee non-residential campus facilities, maintenance, and safety. You will lead staff, coordinate with contractors, manage budgets, and ensure efficient operation of building systems.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance planning, grounds management, space allocation, and compliance with safety standards. Role may require on-call duties and travel within Colorado.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and one year, Associate's Degree and three years related experience, or High School Degree/GED and five years related experience, or equivalent education and experience.
• Knowledge of safety, OSHA requirements, and building codes.
• Knowledge of web-based work order systems and current facility management technology.

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains, and manages staff.
• Oversees cleaning and maintenance of all campus facilities and equipment.
• Initiates preventive maintenance and coordinates repairs.
• Oversees campus grounds, landscaping, irrigation, and snow removal.
• Coordinates outside contractor services and manages vendor relations.
• Manages campus utility and energy systems; monitors and troubleshoots as needed.
• Develops and administers the campus facilities budget.
• Maintains safety compliance and risk management coordination.
• Supports campus moves, furniture installation, and space planning.
