Job summary

Colorado Mountain College is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee maintenance, custodial services, safety, and grounds for a non-residential campus. You will supervise staff and contractors, manage preventive maintenance, budgeting, and coordinate with architects and engineers on projects.

Responsibilities include safety compliance, space planning, and energy management systems. A demanding role requiring leadership, problem solving, and collaboration with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 1 year related experience, or Associate’s degree and 3 years related experience, or HS diploma and 5 years related experience.

Responsibilities

• Hires, trains, and manages staff.
• Oversees cleaning and maintenance of campus facilities and equipment.
• Initiates planned/preventive maintenance programs and manages repairs.
• Oversees campus grounds, irrigation, snow removal, and related activities.
• Coordinates outside contractor services and vendor relationships.
• Manages campus utility and energy systems; coordinates with contractors for support.
• Oversees campus safety, security, and access systems; coordinates with Risk Management.
