Job summary

Sigmatron International in Union City, CA is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor to plan, prioritize, and supervise staff responsible for facility maintenance. Qualifications

• Two years of college-level coursework in business/management.
• Certification of Safety and Emergency response and Environmental Control.
• HVAC license and sprinkler system certification.
• CAD proficiency and applicable software knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prioritize, assign, supervise, review, and participate in the work of staff responsible for facility maintenance.
• Understand the California Electrical Code requirements for wiring in the facility.
• Establish safety, hazardous material handling including MSDS and OSHA requirements.
• Develop and organize preventative maintenance and safety inspection programs for facilities and equipment.
• Coordinate construction projects, remodels, and other special projects.
• Assist in preparing contracts, RFPs, and reports.
• Train or coordinate training in facility maintenance and safety methods.
