Job summary

Sotera Health is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to direct the Maintenance Department, ensuring facility and equipment are maintained in excellent repair. The role requires oversight of safety programs and coordination with Plant and Engineering on installations and upgrades.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years in maintenance with 2+ years in supervision, fluent English, and knowledge of 480V 3-phase systems, ladder logic, and mechanical/electrical repair.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum five (5) years of maintenance experience with two (2) years of supervisory experience.
• Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
• Knowledge of purchasing; 480-volt 3 Phase power; ladder logic and electrical diagrams; motor control troubleshooting; mechanical repair; welding and cutting; hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate the Maintenance Department to keep facility and equipment in excellent repair.
• Identify problems, collect data and draw valid conclusions.
• Maintain spare parts and tool inventories to minimize downtime.
• Ensure safety procedures are followed by employees and outside contractors in the facility.
• Perform preventative and demand maintenance as required.
• Assist Plant and Engineering with equipment installation and upgrades.
• Support other tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
• Supervise the work of others and/or the function.
